happy birthday joan!!

yay!! it's my sister's birthday! she's an old fart.. hahah 28! but it's cool.. she's older and wiser :P i'm just sad that she's in taiwan so we can't celebrate it with her.. but we had some celebration before she left, so i guess that's what matters. she'll be partying it up movie star style in taiwan anyways :P so yay happy birthday joan!

Friday, March 26, 2004

tonight i'm helping my mom pack. she's going to taiwan for a while. good.. she needs a vacation. as much as i am elated that i will not have the constancy of her nagging everyday, i do feel a little bit bad for feeling so happy that she will be leaving. but also i wonder what it will be like when she's not here to make me go to bed, make sure i'm up and have a good breakfast to eat. will my father and i just run amuck? and when my dad leaves will i just totally wild? or totally lame. hahah. i think the later is a huge possibility. i also felt very sad for my mom today. we've realized that my sister's wedding may be earlier than planned and so my mom is worried about being able to take some more time off again. seeing as how my sister's wedding will be in taiwan, it's not just a weekend trip (although if you really had to you could, but my mom isn't that kind of person that could handle that.) so she tried saying that she'd take off without pay, or some other stuff. and in the end she said that she might even just quit her job. which is awful. i don't know.. she was telling me over the phone today and then she said she was going to start crying. she just felt so bad and was so worried and so angry and depressed and there was nothing that i could do to help. sure i make my mom furious all the time and she yells at me for stupid crap that could probably be avoided, but somehow this situation just seems much worse. that i'm so helpless for my parents at times. her work even said that "well tell your daughter you can't be at her wedding" who says that? who doesn't want to see their first daughter get married. i dunno.. ugh.

in lighter events tonight is convention for cnh cki. it's so weird not being there and not spending so much time and effort gearing up for it. my parents have become accustomed to me being off doing cki stuff when i was supposed to be home. my dad asked me (because i said i was going to convention this weekend) that shouldn't i be leaving already? hah. not that i'm lamenting or depressed and wishing that i could be chanting "cal nev ha" or "i feel good!" but for the past four years i've spent this weekend at convention doing all that crap and it's just so odd to know that it's all happening and i'm not part of that anymore. like that first year when i wasn't in torrance youth council and there'd be spring/fall/christmas boutique (etc.) down the street from me.. i'd be like "wow i remember last year when i was at the park at 4am almost getting run over directing bratty vendors to their spaces." it's weird how something is such a big part of your life and then it's not, but it's still there. hmm.. that's probably why i'm going tomorrow. hah.. i'm such a nerd. i just have a hard time letting go of good memories i guess. (note: i don't in any shape or form wish that i was still cheering/doing awards/caucus whatever.. it was just lots of fun to hang out with good people. it was fun to have something to do :P)

yea i know. i'm lame.
i have cool friends:

jeanyah: but someone on the john mayer message board posted something about his friend how was on howie's bus.. and howie got her down to her underwear and then she refused to blow him.. so he threw her clothes out on the street
jeanyah: and she had to walk around to go get them.. how sad
EroQah: HAHA
EroQah: ROCK STAR
jeanyah: hahah you're so funny
EroQah: i think its fuckin great
jeanyah: hahahaha
EroQah: i really do
EroQah: i mean...COME ON!!!
EroQah: what else are you gonna do
jeanyah: in your bra and undies?
jeanyah: haha
EroQah: exactly
EroQah: Fuckin A....i mean you spent money for a ticket...take one for the team..its an added bonus!
jeanyah: hahahahahha
jeanyah: some girls aren't as hoochie as you
EroQah: true

what a slut. :P

and this is mainly for the benefit of nicole because she's not online to see it in my profile :) and i know she would enjoy this.

jeanyah: banana said janet had to leave early and so paul left her with the scrapbook
jeanyah: so her and her friends just worked on it last night
sakurandchoco: oh
sakurandchoco: i wanted to see it!
sakurandchoco: hhehee
jeanyah: i know!
jeanyah: hahah.. i don't think it's completely finished yet
sakurandchoco: promise me... you need to call me right after WE WIN FIRST PLACE
sakurandchoco: i'll be waiting for your call on sat
jeanyah: okay.. i'll call you before
sakurandchoco: hahaha
jeanyah: and you can listen to them announce the winner
sakurandchoco: hahha
sakurandchoco: dork

we're AWESOME! :)

i am hard at work as you can see :P

while i'm here i might as well update. last night i went to nicole's to raid her closet and pick out something cute to wear to convention on saturday. nicole has tons o' cute clothes because she is a shopping whore and doesn't just buy all plain jane stuff because she doesn't work at the gap :P so anyways... i got treated to dinner (pepperoni pizza.. shhh.. don't tell my mom) that was cut by apparently one of the cuter guys in chino hills. you should go read that entry.. it's great. so anyways.. dinner and the apprentice .. ooOOoo. we were all jeering and laughing at the antics in the show. cheering that amy didn't get fired and that certain people are stupid. haah. and i made a few bows for the boutinere's that nicole is making for the vip/seniors for cki. i love playing with nicole's fun flower stuff! :) anyhow.. we finally got upstairs and i played fashion show in nicole's room. trying on her gazillions of dresses, although i stayed away from her french maid outfit. haha. it was fun, and i think we have a winner, but i took a few of her dresses just in case (and she thinks she's getting them back huh?) haha. but really.. thanks nicole! carlene, nicole and i had some girly chit chat and i finally left at midnight thirty trying to race home before i fell asleep. but it was a good time and worth the drive (i guuesss.. :P) thanks nicole and family!! oh what a girl won't do for a dress.

ha ha ha.

how sad... howie day got arrested.

oh lordy.. how do you get yourself into this mess? well actually.. i can assume.. but really. it makes him sound like such a scum bag! (although there were times where i have thought that he was not the nicest of all persons).. and he may be a scum bag.. but he still does sound dayam good. i got my madrigals cd and dvd and it's amazing this looping music thing he does.. a-maz-ing. but anyways.. it's a dilemma, because it's like.. why support such a jerk .. but really he just wants some lovin. he's just not so smart about it. :P i'll still love to listen to him.

poor howie day.. it's okay.. i'm sure he'll recover.. next him and britney can do something. rock stars have such hard lives :P
blah blah blah.. being sick sucks. the only bright side is that tuesday i went home from work and got to sleep all day (even though that cost me 6 hours of pay :P). but it most definitely helped me get better. :) but every once in awhile i feel as though if i can't breathe, or i'm hacking up really nasty stuff outta my throat and that's not so fun :P but yea.. hopefully i'll be all fine and dandy by saturday.

wednesday i dragged my sorry ass to work and managed to power through the day. afterwards i was supposed to hang out with beth, or sakura and hanan.. but as what always happens when i try to hang out with too many people... i spend the night hanging out with no one at all :P banana never called because they were busy finishing stuff up and beth thought i was busy so she stayed home and got sucked in by the tv. so i ended up going to this chinese doctor that my mom wanted me to go to. but it was all eastern methods and for 30 minutes i was subject to extreme forms of accupressure. i screamed and yelped because i had a low low low tolerance for pain and am a huge wuss. i felt kind of bad afterwards because my "session" was only half a hour when it was supposed to be a whole hour. my mom said it was because i was screaming too much. i hope my mom didn't have to pay the full $80. (yikes!! i know!! $80!!) so yea. i dunno.. i know that there was a ton of people who wanted to be pushed, pinched, prodded and pulled.. but i am not one of them.. sorry mommy. afterwards, i drove home and ate some leftovers, chatted on the phone and surfed the internet. fun times eh?

aww... these are pictures of my cutie patootie niece (or is she my second cousin?) this is my cousin's baby, lily. they're on the east coast, so i don't see them too often. but she's so cute.. she's three months old. and has the same birthday as my mom. funny. hahah... i can't wait until my sister has kids. :P or maybe some of my friends.. hurry up with the baby making! come on beth and ryan! (just kidding).

although this weekend i didn't get to do too much relaxing, it still felt longer than the other weekends that fly by. maybe because i was awake for more of it :P.

wednesday sakura, beth, carol and i met up with jill and manny to say goodbye to jill and have some boba. although it was the small kind and not as good (but i didn't have any, so what am i talking about.) friday night i met up with sakura and carol to have dinner at chili's. it was a good time and sakura enjoyed flirting with the waiter.. cesar. haha.. okay, maybe not flirting, but just being nice to :P she told him we'd come back later for dessert and he said he'd be waiting. haha. we were going to go watch a movie, but decided to try not to be so lame and went out instead. so off to hermosa beach it was to go bar hopping. plus we didn't want sakura to fall asleep in the movie. we went to patrick malloy's for a round of drinks, but they didn't have any music and we want to dance, so we went over to sharkeez to brave the line (yes.. i know... be quiet). but luckily we didn't have the wait in line, after like 5 minutes the bouncer came over and let us in.. i say it's because of carol.. and she didn't even have to take anything off! :P although.. before we got let in a cop came up to sakura and carol and asked them to see their ids, asked them how old they were, what years they were born and how to pronounce their names. haha.. but the police man went through some of the other people in the line, so i guess it wasn't too bad :P we drank and danced a little. we met this really drunk girl named traci who told us we were all beautiful and didn't need men and somehow her and her boyfriend (or guy she just met that night) got all three of us to dance on the platform. too funny. it was a fun little girls night out, except for the weirdos who kept trying to pour beer on us. they would hold tilted bottles of beer over our heads on the dancefloor. i had to get sakura out the way numerous times. did they think that was attractive.. once they pour beer over sakura's head she'd say "ooh baby take me" and jump on him on the dance floor and they'd have a beer soaked make-out-fest? um.. no. don't think so. guys are so stupid sometimes. they were also cat calling all over the place. guys.. that's not really attractive either.

saturday i worked and then sent my sister off to taiwan for promotion of better luck tomorrow. at the airport i hung out with karin a little bit (she's in the movie.. some of the cast was going too) and she asked me if i was going, and i wanted to just go play in taiwan for a week. shopping, eating, watching my sister and her movie star friends. too bad. next time. hopefully. sunday i worked too.. and then napped. i was feeling a little off and then went to todai with the parents to meet up with my cousin karen and her hubby ben (not the one with the baby, but her sister). yum.. i had white chocolate covered strawberries. they were amazing. cleaned my room, watched tv (hahaha.. high school reunion) and bedtime for me. i know, my life is exciting.

bye jill!!! awww.. she's going (or gone by now) to washington dc for an internship at the smithsonian institute (what a smartie!). so she's off and away to the east coast... this is a few pictures from the goodbye dinner at cafe boogaloo.

so my sister is going to taiwan for the next week or two so she's spending her birthday in taiwan (boo..) so we had an early birthday dinner for her last night. i also finished making her birthday present. a bomb ass photo board! hahah.. my sister told me to open up a craft store with my artsy fartsy friends.. and it could also be a bakery.. and on the weekends it would be a cafe because my dad would come and cook and make the best dumplings in the world. yuuummm. haha.. sounds like a good idea eh? who wants to join. beth can make jewelry, nicole can be our designer, carol can make chocolate covered strawberries and sakura can be the spokesperson. hahahah. i dunno. i always joked around wiht my dad that when he retired he could open a restaurant.. and i'd run the bakery next door. hahah.. maybe that's what i'm supposed to do instead of this "real job" crap. :P

dilemma, dilemma, dilemmas... i hate how i can never make decisions.

there's a lacrosse player from cornell who died after being hit in the chest with the ball. it's pretty scary, and very sad. not to be completely selfish, but i also thought about "wow.. that maybe could have happened to me." i wonder why exactly why he went down, like was it how he was hit? or i dunno... it must be so sad for (of course) his friends and family.. but also his teammates. and also the other team, especially the guy who threw the ball. like.. he was just trying to score and win for his school... and he ended up killing a guy. yikes. i'm sorry george boiardi.

in fluffier news...
allegedly michael vartan and jennifer garner have broken up (yay!)
and mandy and andy (moore and roddick) broke up too (boo.)

happy st. paddy's day!

wear green and pinch people who aren't.. especially if they're cute :P i heard a funny joke on kroq this morning. lisa may was announcing from advertisement for lowe's.. and this guy (maybe ralph) was like..

did you know lowe's is irish?
because they sell paddy-o furniture (patio).

hahahahah.

anyways... monday i went on a impromptu dinner date with benji. he was being all flashy about his entertainment book, so we chose a place out of there. i saw an ad for that paradise place where i always see their sign off the the freeway, but never knew quite what it was. it's a pan-asian place.. or at least it seems like it from the ad.. we didn't go there. there was also a steakhouse which sounded pretty good, but instead we went to this place called bruno's in gardena. (ghetto-dena). it was in the shadier part of town, but not the shadiest, so that's okay. it was very very empty though.. which should have been a red flag in itself. there was one other couple dining and a few people drinking beer at the bar (but i think that they were friends of the workers). i saw a sign that said the lions club met there.. so i guess it couldn't be all that bad. the food was mediocre, i think the best part was the salad and the bread. but it was all stuff i definitely could have made myself with no effort. afterwards we trotted up to ucla to get dessert.. (mmmm...diddy reese). spent a bundle on cookies and ice cream sandwiches and then went to go say hi to benji's new girlfriend. (what?! benji has a girlfriend? i know....) well not really new..but new to me. she was nice.. she kind of reminded me of shirin.. i don't quite know why. but anyways. i read the US magazine with meredith and ian on the cover... (quality reading) aww.. the bachelorette... yesterday i just did some downloading madness. i came home and plopped myself in front of the computer after work.. and didn't get up until dinner time like three hours later. haha.. oops. it's so addicting though! plus i was rippingcd's into my hard drive. and then i sort them all and transfer them to my ipod. hooray.

i watched average joe: adam returns.. i think it'll be pretty good. watching girls fight over this.. girls are drama dude. hahah. although it's not quite as endearing as watching the nerdy guys cry. he kicked of this one girl.. and she was bawling, and was so sad because she wanted to spend her life with him already. so sad. but kind of freaky. there's still another girl who is bordering on stalker too... we shall see. and his "perfect match" from computer compatibility test results got booted too... but she didn't have that great of a personality.. she doesn't mesh well with adam (who's last name is mesh.. hahah). but i do think he's still that average joe who wants the really hot chick (duh.. isn't that all guys) so i think maybe he'll pick heather in the end. that's my first week prediction. oh and they had jason come on in drag to "infiltrate" the girls to see if they were here for adam for the "right" reasons. please.. you could tell he wasn't really a girl.. he was probably making out with them all on the bus :P but oh my he is a cutie. that "i wanna be a weather man named jason storm" thing kind of ruins it a little. dude.. that would fan-fuckin-tastic if they brought melana back on to compete. i think he still wants her.

while watching tv, i also started to make my sister's birthday present. i think the first part turned out pretty well. yay! i hope it stays put... i got buy some more materials to finish it up.. and i'll post pictures (if you can even see them!!!) after i give it to her. her bday's not for another week and a half, but she's going to taiwan because better luck tomorrow is showing at a film festival there so we're gonna do an early celebration. but i was very proud of myself.. it's pretty cute so far. i'm so handy!

Monday, March 15, 2004

today i am wearing the shoes that i was wearing when i got into my car accident. this is the first time since november that i have unearthed them from my closet and let them see light and touch the pedals of my car again. they're platform sandals that i got for $6 at payless. they are uber comfy and make me tall(er) but i was very scared and wary today while i was driving. i didn't want them to catch in between the pedals, or get stuck, or make me less aware of which pedal i was pushing because of the inches of foam between me and my car. but i do feel bad for my shoes because i neglected them... so i brought them out again. it wasn't really their fault.. at least not all their fault, so their probation has been long enough. cross your fingers to make sure that that's true.
yup.. the weekend definitely went by too fast. too too toooooo fast.

friday night jeff-gu threw a surprise kind of dinner for my sister as an early bday celebration because she's going to be in taiwan on business during her bday.. but i opted for not going because i had already told jill that i would be at her thing, and i figured my sister wanted to hang out with her friends without her bratty little sister around. so i arrived late at jill's.. (sorry! the glow of my monitor was sucking me in) and drove down to hermosa with mollie, paul and jill. we finally found not to shabby parking and headed to cafe boogaloo. a place that i've always seen and walked by when in hb, but never really noticed and went in.. so we were all like.. "oh yea.. we've seen this place before" it was a $10 cover which we were planning on getting back by leaving before the live band came on (which didn't happen :P) and ate all sorts of cajun food. some more cajuney than others (catfish po' boys and gumbo and jambalaya vs. tri-tip sandwiches and hamburgers). but it was all pretty good... i spent like $40 total that night. and then afterwards.. the loser tired people went home :P and the troopers (me, jill, beth and ryan) headed over to 501 to karaoke. i've lived in torrance forever and never knew about this 501 place. never have been there, let alone heard of it until recently. but it was pretty cool, they had a good selection of songs and we all sang to our hearts content.. the remedy. (haha.. yup.. jason mraz has made it to karaoke), high hopes (such a cute song!), tiffany, janet jackson, black eyed peas, incubus... randomness. i would load pix.. but a) i haven't taken them outta the camera yet and b) they probably wouldn't show up anyways.. (grr.)

saturday i had to work at el gap-o. not too bad, it wasn't too early and only for a few hours. very chill and i got my job done. came home and rested, napped, watched tivo. my new obsession (i can already tell) is going to be Playing it Straight. the newest show in reality dating specials where this one girl has to pick from a group of guys.. where some of them are straight and some of them are gay. and you think that you'd be able to tell.. but there are some femme straight guys and macho gay guys. the two guys she kicked off in the first episode were both straight! hmm.. it seems like it'll be pretty good though. except i saw a preview for one episode and these guys are arm wrestling and one guy's arm just snaps.. ewww... that's going to be crazy to watch. it's supposed to be good because it's going to dispell stereotypes and all the good junk and if she picks a gay guy in the end... we'll see how the drama unfolds :P tonight is also the premiere of AJ: Adam Returns.. oooohhh.. hehehe. i love tv.

i finally moved my desk up to my room and can begin phase 2 of unpacking from san diego. :P the job i applied at fox i think has already been filled and i didn't even get a phone call :( despite in-person references by my old boss. so i told him i'd go intern for him for free, and he seemed to like that. it would be fun to do that again.. maybe i'd meet a rock star and fall in love. hahah. at least that's a back up plan. saturday, instead of going out with jill for her last weekend in la celebration (awww.. don't leave jill!) i was supposed to go out with erika to this concert/mtv promo thing for one of her many rockstar friends.. but we ended up not going because we didn't want to get all skankified for the dance club that was happening afterwards. so we ended up just hanging out at her very nice house with her very cute kitties and very nice collection of music ;) we made a 7-11 and i realized just how much erika goes to there.. the guys who work there know her and have stuff she wants ready when we get there :P we got slurpees and big gulps and she won a free itunes song (i lost.. boo)

sunday was a little bit of shopping, some music stuff, re-setting up the ipod, chattin on the phone, sleeping, lunch with the parents at souplantation (oh how my parents love that place). it was a pretty okay weekend.

Friday, March 12, 2004

yay it's friday!!! soooo excited. except the weekend seems to go by so quickly. boo.. soon enough monday will be here and i will be sad. so anyways..

happy birthday alice!
yesterday.. sorry i didn't post earlier!

alice is the big 2-1, so i'm sure she got real toasty last night. haahha. just kidding.. she saved that until this weekend :P now that she's mastered the art of winning amateur lap dance contests, she can move on to other talents.

real quickly before i go home.. (whoo hoo!) wednesday i went on this huge crazy buying spree and bought all the matt nathanson cd's i didn't already have. one of his albums on his website, and then i wanted the plus cd that came free with his new album, but you can only get those at cims stores. so i dragged beth along to footprints in long beach, which is pretty similar to lou's records in encinitas. lots of indie stuff, very fun. beth groaned all the way there, but really enjoyed it once she was inside. she's crazy because she thinks that i drag her along to all these places she's never heard of just so that i'll have company, but really i make her go because i think she'll enjoy it too. sometimes i'm wrong, but i was right on wednesday night. beth really enjoyed the 2nd street scene.. but too bad we got there too late for us to really shop around. we drove back to torrance to try and make it to joanne's so i could get some fabric for my new project.. so we just had dinner instead at the cho dang tofu place. my mom was jealous that i went without her. :P

thursday i opted to stay home and just watched tv, cooked, and chatted on the phone. i was going to bake a cake for a co-worker's bday.. but i realized that i didn't have cake mix, and then tried to find the recipes for making cake from scratch, but realized that i didn't have all the necessary ingredients, so oh well. no cake. so instead this morning i trekked over to the non-strike ralphs (where they are hiring county clerks.. hmm.. maybe i should apply :P) and bought balloons from a lame-o who was nice but couldn't curl ribbon or arrange balloons for the life of him. and bought a cake and some writing gel. today everyone went to claim jumper's for lunch. it was cool.. (even though i had gone on monday) except i didn't like the way they split up the bill. they took the final bill and just split it amongst the amount of people there (minus birthday boy). it just sucks because i ended up paying way more than i should have and some people obviously paid less. my meal was $10 and i ended spending $20.. boo. i mean.. with the 17% large group gratuity and paying for part of the birthday meal it was only a few dollars.. but still.. oh well.. it was a good time, and then we had cake afterwards.

tonight time for playing. yay! i love weekends.
so i jumped on the bandwagon and took a quiz to find your spot. it's seemed pretty interesting to see where this internet quiz thinks you should live. hell i take all sorts of internet quizzes to tell me what kind of love i am and what my personality is like.. (i'm a window shopper btw). so anyways... here's one more.

happy belated birthday
khay seng!

sorry that i forgot to tell you.. i remembered before and after.. but not the day of :P
my gosh i am tired. i came into work a hour earlier, and boy does that hour make a huge difference. i am dragging ass today.. i'm going to starbucks in 20 minutes.. i didn't go this morning because i wanted to try and make it without it, but i don't know if i can last until 5pm. ugh.

and everyone was complaining about how burning hot it was, well, today it's freezing and foggy. the heck is up with that? it's the complete opposite. yesterday i was dying in my skirt and tank top, and today i'm wearing a wool coat. oh well. good thing i didn't sleep with my windows open.

so i still don't know what's upwith the pictures.. i don't know if it's the imagestation or the blog that has the problem. maybe there are too many pictures? i dunno. i'd do photobucket as philly suggested, but i'm to much of a lazy to transfer all my pictures over. boo. hopefully the picture issue resolves itself soon. if you want to see my pictures other wise you can find it here. some of them if you right click and click show picture some of them will come up. others.. i don't know.

monday i was going to go work out.. that always seems to be the plan .. that i say i'm gonna go to the gym, and then end up not going. oops. this time it wasn't completely my fault. hahah.. i was talking to jill about going to the gym when vivian called to see if i wanted to accompany her to costa mesa so that she could buy a pair of shoes. that's right a pair of shoes. in costa mesa. i guess.. whatever i didn't have to drive and i made vivian buy me dinner. hah. i'm such a selfish friend :P well.. she didn't even end up buying the stinking shoes cuz they looked funny when she had them on.. which i guess it the point of going to costa mesa. after shopping a little bit more we ended up at claim jumper's for dinner. i got pasta which is still in my fridge.. it's like 4 meals! and afterwards we got a cookie for dessert, which they heated up and put chocolate and caramel on it. it was sooooo good. except us being snotty little brats asked the waiter to heat it up some more (because it was cold) and then 20 seconds later we wanted ice cream because it would taste so much better with ice cream. yum. nice waiter gave it to us for free. heehhe nice. it wasn't quite as good as a pizookie because it wasn't as smooshy.. but still quite faboo.

yesterday i ended up going to see matty nay. i hung out with lisa and kelly who came up from sd, and it was good to chat with them again. they are funny girls. and i hung out with erika and her friends. they're all so crazy.. i miss the kind of life. haha. i was a little scared that there wouldn't be any tickets left, but thankfully everyone waited until to get their tickets. i guess everyone else hates ticketmaster like me. but i guess they had only sold a few ticket before, probably like 50 or so like he was commenting about how they thought he would only be playing to like 10 people. haha.

not from last night, but from the roxy, but still a goodie.

but it was a fairly good size crowd. i sat kind far away.. up in the balcony, which wasn't really far, because the troubadour is fairly small, but it definitely is a different vibe than the floor. i guess next time i will tough it out and stand on the floor close up. at the roxy i was on the floor, but i think it was still a different feeling. hmm.. he plays with a cello player, matt fish, he is AWESOME. i think he adds so much to the sound and his solos are amazing. it's a really good combo, they need to have a cd with just the two of them :P check out matt nathanson :)

i've been sooo tired lately. it's weird. for the past two nights after i've come home i've been so tired i can barely walk up the stairs. i guess that's good because i go to bed earlier than i normally would. i really need to sit down and help clean our house. organize my room, finish unpacking my boxes from san diego, put a desk in my room, clean all the other crap in my house. (pete and nicole, you guys are good cleaners.. come help!) my family is going to go on vacation soon, so i feel like i want to get it all done before they go .. but there's just so much to be done! maybe this weekend i'll be good and actually do stuff. hah.. isn't that what i say every weekend? argh...

so i wanted to share some funny things that nicole said... i thought that she would put them in her blogger, but she hasn't.. so i just want to put them here so i can look back and read them and laugh at myself. that's right.. at myself, because nicole is funny, but she's also mean.. :P so i probably shouldn't write them because i'm making myself look stupid, but hey.. it's never stopped me before.

while me and nicole were at rent:
me: you know.. these RENTheads are kind of crazy, they travel all over to get these rush tickets, and they all know each other from going to so many shows, and talk about all the different casts...
nicole: yea.. like you and your mraz friends?

while at starbucks late one night talking about jobs:
jean: so my parents want me to go back to taiwan and teach english.
nicole: and all the little chinese kids will come out speaking valley girl.

what a bitch. LOVE YOU!!! *muah*
my appeal for my two seconds two late parking ticket was rejected. fuck.. i hate parking tickets.

i also hate that my pictures are acting all weird. today when i first looked at it everything was fine.. so i thought "hey.. everything's back to normal now." but booo.. they're all funktified now. sucks suck sucks. what the heck is wrong.. they show up on my imagestation just fine. and this ipod is being weird and not working. ugh. i should have went to bed two hours ago.

hellloooooo..... i feel a little silly tonight.. i don't know why.. maybe something was in the mcdonalds i ate.. my stomach has been a little woozy too. blah blah blah...

friday i went to go work on my trailer for the behind the scenes of my sister's new short films. they're pretty cool.. check out the website! i really like how it's designed. my sister's co. gave the 5 different filmmakers $4500 to makes a short about ipod (a central concept) and four months or so. so it's pretty neat. www.cherryskyfilms.com shortly my trailer should be uploaded to the site, so that will be exciting... i've been working on it since like last year in the fall or so.. october. i mean.. it didn't take that long, and i stopped working on it here and there.. so i finally got it finished. and the ends a little cheesy i think, but my sister likes it, so i guess that's good enough. :) i'll let ya'll know when you can view my handywork.

i was working til late on friday, but i didn't finish so i spent the night at my sisters so i wouldn't have drive back the next morning.. yay sister slumberparty! and her roomie mike had some friends over so we joined them for playing scattergories.. such a fun game. didn't end up getting to bed until 4:30.. so much for getting some rest :P woke up semi-early.. haha.. 10am.. finished up my trailer and had lunch with the family and jeff-gu who came back from taiwan. we ate at champagne french bakery.. soooo good and they have awesome desserts. yum yum yum. (i'm such a piggy). afterwards, did some last minute video stuff, drove home to shower, change and go back to the screening party for the shorts. it was at this club called orchid in k-town. i thought it would be all fobby, but it was kind of cool. there was water running down the walls on the sides, and had a very cute decor. none of my worthless friends could come (you suck! :P) so i just tagged along and hung out with my sister's friends.. but a ton of them are really cool and way nice and alcohol always helps :P. there were a few actors from BLT in the shorts, so they were there.. :) all the girlies would have liked to hang out with sung and all the boys would have loved karin. haha. one of the girls from real world (kendal) was in one of the shorts too.. (but not at the party), but that would have been fun if she was. so anyways.. it was a good time, there was yummy food, cool water bottles, free drink tickets, viewing the shorts fun, and nifty karaoke afterwards. i had a really good time.. thanks joan!

today i got called in to work at the gap.. which isn't so bad i guess. i got really tired towards the end of the night, but i liked who i was working with so it was all good. :) extra money i guess. before that i headed out with sakura to michael's to pick up some crafty stuff for my sister's birthday present and got some jamba juice because it was SO freaking hot today. some lady said it was above 90 degrees today! i guess i was glad that i was in the air conditined mall. tonight i am all about resting my feet.

this weekend kroq was having a flashback weekend.. but to the 90's! yikes.. i felt soo weird listening to songs from high school and they were "flashbacks" i mean.. it makes sense and all it was like a little under 10 years ago.. but flashback!? craaaazy

funny.. i heard jason pullman and lisa fox on star 98.7 talking about AJ2: Hawaii finale too.. they were pretty enraged too. and pete posted about it.. which i found pretty funny, because i usually think no one watches nonsense like this except me.. especially him. hahahah.. see.. it's not just me. :P

tuesday i went to my sister's edit my behind the scenes trailer for the skypod shorts.. but got no work done (as usual) because angelee called me and we ended up talking forever .. well not forever because my cell ran out of batteries, but about 30 minutes before i was supposed to pick beth up (from ryan's) to go back home. damn.. oh well.. i have tomorrow to finish.. which works out well for beth because we're carpooling up there so she can spend her time with her ball and chain :P it's really all about beth isn't it?

yesterday beth, jill and i went to go be "hair models" haha.. yup.. we're models dammit. we went to fred segal, where they have the assistants who are training to be full fledged over priced hair stylists find unwitting guinea pigs to practice on for $10. it wasn't too bad, although the lady next to me was not too happy. glad i wasn't her. so the three of us met up and carpooled up to los angeles and shopped around in the equally over-priced store of fred segal of $245 sweaters, $20 bead necklaces, and charm bracelet charms that were $2.50 a gram. haha. we were expecting to get a "consultation" and then come back later for an actual hair cutting, but while i was sitting in the waiting area while wondering where beth and jill were, a hairstylist grabbed me and asked if she could cut my hair and i was like.. "sure" apparently her modeled bailed out.. so i lucked out. also.. the catch is that they learn certain hairstyles and certain times and so you have to get your hair cut for the style that the person is learning. also, today was test day.. so there was extra tension (but also more reason for them to do a better job). i lucked out because this week was the "layers test" so they had already spent 6 weeks practicing, and i wanted layers anyways.

yay! so i felt bad that jill and beth weren't getting their hair cut and they had to wait for my sorry ass, but the lady who was cutting jill's hair's model bailed out and so jill got her hair cut too.. sorry beth! i think the people that cut mine and jill's hair were the two best people in the program.. or we just have good hair, haha.. just kidding. but really.. i was pretty happy with my hair overall.. except they style it all nice, so you're all excited when you leave and now it's just blah. haha.. but it was a good time.. yay!

afterwards we caught some dinner at hurry curry because jill wanted to try it before she treks off to the other side of the country. and then we drove back to meet up with nicole at starbucks so she could borrow my snowboarding gloves for her oh-so-exciting-i-wish-i-was-going trip. fun! except i wasn't really paying attention and i got pretty lost and turned around going the wrong directions and "taking the scenic route" sorry girls. but it's all gravy because we're all safe and sound :) it was fun times hanging out .. thanks girlies!

i also finally put up pictures from valentine's day, exciting!! pictures from the waffles.. we rock, and our adventures :) check em out if you care.

so kimmy provided me with another great great game to play :) it has different levels and everything... i highly enjoyed it. it's the greatest. thanks gibbler.

throw rocks at boys - and don't forget to aim!

not too much going on.. one quick blog about average joe 2 hawaii. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! before i thought she would pick jim.. but apparently they showed him getting rejected before the finale (even though it happened at the same time) because he didn't have enough personality for larissa (uh huh..) so it was between gil and brian w (the joe) and for a moment i thought she might actually pick brian w. but no.. she had to "go with her heart" and broke little brian's heart into a gazillion pieces. poor joe. so again... what was the point of this show? this time the "beauty" has a HUGE secret.. huge i tell you. haha.. so they showed gil and larissa's free trip to cabo.. and towards the end she shared her big secret... she used to date fabio! what a shocking secret! hahahahha.. i was like.. are you serious? but apparently it was too much for gil to handle and he stomped around the beach, kicking the water and could not handle that she used to date mr. i can't believe it's not butter. and then he left the next day saying that any man in america would be able to understand his position. umm.. i guess.. it made for mediocre television, but it was highly laughable and entertaining. i laugh because it's stupid. but maybe i'm just stupid for watching it :P gotta hand it to those advertising folks, they do a good job of making you want to know.. when the secret is.. fabio. reality tv rocks.. can't wait for average joe 3... the return of adam! hahahahha...
