so i really should be asleep now, or going to sleep a lot earlier than i have been. i'm so retarded.. i had NO reason to stay up this late.. it's not like i'm still getting home at midnight or anything. today i answered the phone and my roommate asked me why i was home... she said "you're never home" hahaha.. now i guess my roommates will have to get used to me being around for the next 6 weeks.. unless i find some hot guy to shack up with. riiiiiiiiiiight.. that's brianne's job. anyways..
i've been watching a lot of tv, to make up for my lack there of.. hahahh.. i should at least get something out of my ridiculously high cable bill. today.. i watched cruel intentions 2.. which is possibly one of the worst movies in the world. even though it's 2.. it's supposed to be a prequel... but it's like almost the exact same thing, but horrible-er... horrible-est.. it's SOOOOO bad. i have no idea why i watched it.. its like that whole morbid curiosity thing. but at least i know i'm not alone in my crazyness..both carrie and nicole have seen it (they probably watched it together) and proceeded to tell me it was bad (after i had already told them i just watched one of the worst movies ever)... thanks for the warning guys ;) anyways...
monday.. i spent watching tv, cleaned my room a little. today jill called this morning in a weird panic of all this bad stuff happening, but she had to come over and use my computer, so i let her in as i was leaving for class, hugged her, and left for class. yes.. i'm a good friend. i know. class, abs n buns.. and working out. i ran into Michael.. which was fun.. I haven't seen him in awhile. I'm on this big whole "i want to hang out with everyone i've ever been friends with at UCSD before i leave" kick. i think it's the whole graduating thing.. and being sad i probably won't see these people. :P i have a 8 page paper due in a week, which i haven't started of course.. but i'm a little worried because my ta is a smart smart man... and so is the teacher.. and i don't want them to think i'm a complete idiot. yet.. due to my innate slacker qualities.. i feel no sense of urgency to start. i am horrible.
today was hailes' bday.. (happy birthday!!) michelle, carli, sakura and i took him out to bj's for pizza and pizookie's and i bought him and ice cream cake, and there were trick candles (hahahahah) and we almost burned bj's down. well not really.. but we melted the little soccer guys on hailes' cake (yea.. i know.. soccer.. but i just picked it for the flavor.. there were no nerdy kids playing computers on top of the cakes.) oh well.
anyhoo.... i should get to bed.. or pretend to do something productive. internship tomorrow.. and maybe i'll actually study.. hmm.. why do i feel like i have something to do.... hahah.. maybe it's just go to free scoop night at baskin robbin's.. :) yum. piggy.. oink oink. ooh.. maybe to a bar... hmmmm....

oh... so i forgot to mention that yesterday i was in a crappy mood because i almost got a ticket because of cki. well.. not completely because of cki.. but yea. so i was rushing to sun god to meet up for half marathon.. because i thought everyone was leaving (which everyone was) and i didn't know where we were supposed to meet, or how we were getting there. so i was totally speeding towards campus, and then on campus, i was speeding, and blowing past all the stop signs. the very last one happened to be in front of a cop.. which by the way wasn't even in a cop car!! it was a plain car, with light under the car.. which i thought was like some asian racer car... who can blame me. so stopped in the sun god parking lot and some man came up to me and told me turn off my engine and asked if i had a license, he checked it, and didn't give me a ticket.. i'm assuming i got a warning and since i didn't have any other tickets/warnings he let me off this time. i played the sad tired volunteer girl, telling him that i was really sorry, and i was only rushing because i thought i was late to a volunteer project and that they would leave me behind. emphasis on the word volunteer. i didn't tell him that also it was because it was 4:45am and no one in their right mind should be awake and on campus, let alone cops. but anyways.. i'm glad that i didn't get a ticket.. because i would have been so pissed.. and i hate cso's.. what jerks.
so i can finally have my life back now.. i'm free of rehearsals, line notes, props.. etc. and now i'm sleeping :) i slept 17 of the past 24 hours and it feels real good :)
last week we had tech... it was insane.. a little boring because i just sit backstage and not really do anything. there's so little props, no scene changes.. nothing for me to do really. but it was fun.. friday night we opened... i got presents.. yay :) eva gave me a plant, lilach gave me a flower, dave gave me a hug and barry gave me a book. so cute :) that night there was a get together at rock-bottom, so lilach and i went for a little bit, and then we went to friday's. i guess maybe we just felt like we didn't fit in too much... all the grad students tend to keep to each other mostly. at friday's we ran into sheida and ate dinner with her there.. and then afterwards i met up with vivian and angie at pb bar & grill and after a night of chaos.. didn't get to bed until 5am. not the wisest choice see as how i had to be at school at 8:30am... yea.. my ass was definitely dragging that day.
saturday we had 3 shows... they were all pretty good.. the morning one was the best. i worked on a collage that i gave to the cast and crew.. like a good job present. i'm such a nerd. afterwards, went to the reception at the baldwin's house in del mar. it was pretty fun, talked to people and drank wine. :) hahaha. afterwards, went home and debated whether or not to sleep for the la jolla half marathon, but vivian called me and i went downtown to hang out with her and angie and aran, nick, scott and friends... we went to denny's and just chilled. at least it gave me something to do... went to la jolla half marathon.. worked traffic and the water stations. it got kind of crazy.. too many runners. but i have mad respect for people who can run 13 miles. or even the people who did the 5K... i probably couldn't do it if my life depended on it. i got free jamba juice, pat and oscar's breadsticks and naked juice. yay for free stuff.
on the way home i passed by gap, so i dropped in to say hi. they asked me if i wanted to come back.. so that's something i'll have to think about. i'm kind of enjoying not working and having time to just sit on my lazy ass.. but i'm also not enjoying my broke-ness. came home... passed out.. slept for 9 hours. my roommate was amazed because she said she had her friends over, was playing loud music, some people were wrestling, and she couldn't believe i slept through it all. i ate some dinner, watched harry potter and then went back to sleep.
today i'm supposed to be doing some junk.. but i really just feel like lying in bed all day. hahahah.. and i feel like going to eat at ichiban's.. i'll have to call jill. and i want to go to disneyland... hehehehe.. so many things that i want to do.. except the things i'm supposed to be doing. is that the way it always is?

so yesterday i was blogging, and something funky happened with the buttons and the page went back, and i lost everything that i wrote. i hate when that happens. boo.
here's a quick synopsis of my week and so.
friday: internship, rehearsal, smac house party. it was really fun.. i really really really want to own a foosball table now. carrie.. can we get one in our beach-side apartment? :) hahaha. it was a good time *even sober* and i played with Nick who kept saying "you know what jean's favorite food is, SMACK-a-roni and cheese!" as we were beating people. yea.. maybe it was funnier in person. but i always have good times at their house parties, it's always fun to get together with old friends.
saturday: admit day: helped recruit possible freshmeat for cki. ali did the best job ever!! haah.. and hailes made the most "kicked out" fliers ever. they loooked sooooooo good and kathy is our poster child for ucsd cki. they looked way better than those gay int'l ones (no offense carrie) and we rocked. after that rehearsal and then i stayed at home and was a big bum.. i like having me time sometimes.
sunday: did nothing :)
monday: rehearsal, cki mtg
tuesday: class, rehearsal, watched spin moves with sakura and carli. it was pretty good. kind of sad in the end, but good. it was funny to see my new ta be a pervy bball coach.. but i guess that means he's a good actor eh?
wednesday: internship, met some of the guys from weezer, rehearsal and then watched archaeology. that was good too, i kind of didn't get the ending, well just a part of the ending, but it was good :) **happy birthday chase**
thursday: class, sakura locked my keys in my car, rehearsal, fractured my toe **happy birthday pete**
friday: hospital, internship, work at the water polo game, rehearsal, hung out with my sister and karin from BLT, and a bunch of drunk asian people at a karaoke bar. :)
saturday: rehearsal, watched hand, foot, arm, face- which was sad, i didn't really understand everything, but was interesting. then rested, napped, philly and fam came to visit me for 10 minutes and then i went to watch desperados with sakura. (we also had california burritos from coti's.. mmmm.. soooo good) the play was good, funny and depressing because it was a love story.. and of course made me and sakura want to have boyfriends. boo. hahaha.. i kept drooling over one of the actors.. it also made me sad because i wanted to act and be in a play, not just stage manage. but while watching all the new plays i didn't think there was any part i could really play, but in the last one, i found a part i could have been... too bad i never tried out. dang it. my lazyness sucks. missed pete's show (sorry!!) ... and then afterwards I went to this BLT party that the director's bro was throwing. some good food and a bunch of asian people. ahah.. jk. there was some "interesting" people, and me and this guy albert sat around for awhile people watching :) there was also a bunch of people taking pics and a guy with a video camera.. that kind of creeped me out a little. i hope i don't end up on like "fobs gone wild" or anything..although i was just sitting and talking.. nothing to interesting. karin and her friends andrew, ian and dan came, and so i hung out with them and we all chilled afterwards. it was good times.. i fell asleep watching harry potter :) yay... i *heart* harry potter. **happy birthday dan**
sunday: i came home, cleaned up our apartment because it was a disaster area from the party my roommates threw, tay and i tried to watch harry potter but both of us passed out and didn't wake up until it was dark. oops. woke up later, dragged my ass around the house some more, watched south park and fox rox and then i read.. yes i actually did homework. it's cuz we have a quiz this thursday, and i'm definitely going to fail. boo.
today: i slummed around the house, read a little bit, went to rehearsal, where i did think it could possibly get more boring.. it does. i sat backstage all night and after i had the props all laid out (which is easy) i just sat back there.. in the dark.. with nothing to do. :P one more week.. that's all.. and sure i guess i'll miss it. but it's more like missing the people, not the tasks. it's like school, during the summer, you miss it, not the work or the classes, but the environment, the people, your friends, the parties, etc. but tay told me today someone called this morning at like 7:30 and asked for vivian, and then asked for me, and said that they really needed to talk to me, and when she tried to ask who it was, he was like.. "just tell her i called, she'll know who it is" man.. what a freak. but still i want to know who it is... was it you? (and if it was.. i'm sorry i called you a freak) :) **happy birthday ann**
i have rehearsal, class, interning and my show opens this week. that's kind of exciting. pete's/she blonde swede show is this saturday night. 10pm-1am in some bar.. it should be a good time. everyone should go :) and also i get to go to this afterparty for the new play festival at the "baldwins" not of alec/billy etc. fame.. but some rich la jolla couple who donated money to make the new play festival happen. anyways, moral of the story is they're loaded, i'm sure their house is a mansion, and i'm going to a party at it. hahaha. who wants to come with? :)
hmm.. i really should be sleeping, i don't know what's wrong with me. i have bad bad bad senioritis.. i seriously just want to drop all my classes :) i don't know how some people are so nerdy and disciplined. ahahah. but also.. i think the ucsd cki banquet is going to be may 31st.. that's the unofficial date for now.. so ALL of you reserve that date, because i expect to see you all there. :)
and of course.. manny is the bestest.

here's a quick synopsis of my week and so.
friday: internship, rehearsal, smac house party. it was really fun.. i really really really want to own a foosball table now. carrie.. can we get one in our beach-side apartment? :) hahaha. it was a good time *even sober* and i played with Nick who kept saying "you know what jean's favorite food is, SMACK-a-roni and cheese!" as we were beating people. yea.. maybe it was funnier in person. but i always have good times at their house parties, it's always fun to get together with old friends.
saturday: admit day: helped recruit possible freshmeat for cki. ali did the best job ever!! haah.. and hailes made the most "kicked out" fliers ever. they loooked sooooooo good and kathy is our poster child for ucsd cki. they looked way better than those gay int'l ones (no offense carrie) and we rocked. after that rehearsal and then i stayed at home and was a big bum.. i like having me time sometimes.
sunday: did nothing :)
monday: rehearsal, cki mtg
tuesday: class, rehearsal, watched spin moves with sakura and carli. it was pretty good. kind of sad in the end, but good. it was funny to see my new ta be a pervy bball coach.. but i guess that means he's a good actor eh?
wednesday: internship, met some of the guys from weezer, rehearsal and then watched archaeology. that was good too, i kind of didn't get the ending, well just a part of the ending, but it was good :) **happy birthday chase**
thursday: class, sakura locked my keys in my car, rehearsal, fractured my toe **happy birthday pete**
friday: hospital, internship, work at the water polo game, rehearsal, hung out with my sister and karin from BLT, and a bunch of drunk asian people at a karaoke bar. :)
saturday: rehearsal, watched hand, foot, arm, face- which was sad, i didn't really understand everything, but was interesting. then rested, napped, philly and fam came to visit me for 10 minutes and then i went to watch desperados with sakura. (we also had california burritos from coti's.. mmmm.. soooo good) the play was good, funny and depressing because it was a love story.. and of course made me and sakura want to have boyfriends. boo. hahaha.. i kept drooling over one of the actors.. it also made me sad because i wanted to act and be in a play, not just stage manage. but while watching all the new plays i didn't think there was any part i could really play, but in the last one, i found a part i could have been... too bad i never tried out. dang it. my lazyness sucks. missed pete's show (sorry!!) ... and then afterwards I went to this BLT party that the director's bro was throwing. some good food and a bunch of asian people. ahah.. jk. there was some "interesting" people, and me and this guy albert sat around for awhile people watching :) there was also a bunch of people taking pics and a guy with a video camera.. that kind of creeped me out a little. i hope i don't end up on like "fobs gone wild" or anything..although i was just sitting and talking.. nothing to interesting. karin and her friends andrew, ian and dan came, and so i hung out with them and we all chilled afterwards. it was good times.. i fell asleep watching harry potter :) yay... i *heart* harry potter. **happy birthday dan**
sunday: i came home, cleaned up our apartment because it was a disaster area from the party my roommates threw, tay and i tried to watch harry potter but both of us passed out and didn't wake up until it was dark. oops. woke up later, dragged my ass around the house some more, watched south park and fox rox and then i read.. yes i actually did homework. it's cuz we have a quiz this thursday, and i'm definitely going to fail. boo.

so i'm at my internship with not that much to do right now. all the guys who do production aren't here.. we're guessing that after their shoot last night they all went out drinking and maybe just didn't feel like coming in today? hah. so i did some logging and editing junk, and now i'm chillin. i missed the kiwanis luncheon, which sucks.. no free food for me. oh well
hmm.. so the second week of school is done with. pretty uneventful. my classes seem okay, except for my theater history class, american musical theater, which sounds fine and dandy, but the teacher seems really hard. a stickler for writing, and him and the ta are both very knowledgeable about the subject, so no BS allowed. it probably isn't that hard, but it's more effort than i want to put in my last quarter of my senior year in college. *blech* but i found out that i don't quite have enough credits to where i can get a theater minor if i take this class pass/no pass. dang it! if only i had taken one more theater class, which would have been possible if i wasn't doing the play... this stinking show should count for two clases :) that would make me a happy girl.
my daddy went to taiwan on monday. my mom didn't end up going, and i felt kind of bad because she seemed really sad and like she really wanted to go, but i guess she's going in july. which is fine with her i suppose. but i drove up to LA on tuesday for my sister's movie premiere. it was fun stuff... i saw "ewan" from off centre (ooh) and johnny knoxville (yum). i was too scared to say anything to either of them. hahaha.. but we watched the movie and then trekked over to this club called "bliss" where the after-party was supposed to be at. it was nice and a free full-bar. too bad i was driving. but i just drank a little bit... with my mom. hahahahha drove back to san diego on wednesday, but not before having chick-fil-a of course. yuuuuuuuuuuum.
hmm.. sakura and i started abs n buns this week. i ditched tuesday of course, but i went yesterday, than ran... i'm pretty sore.. i guess i shouldn't have laughed at sakura the other day. vivian moved out this week and a new girl (tai, ty, thai?) moved in. she seems okay, pretty nice, she's really cute, and 19. she's pretty wild, so goes out all the time and drinks with her friends, but she still seems nice. oh and our cable got cut off yesterday. hahahahah... my janky roommates who never pay bills, we lost the february one.. so i guess i should pay it soon huh? oops.. my bad. i'm still undecided about the whole taiwan/icon thing and which one i'm going to go to. that's just the million dollar question i guess. rehearsal again tonight, tomorrow and every stinkin' day for the next two weeks. ugh. although i'm doing more now so it's less a waste of my time, but there are still issues here and there, especially with some sheisty hoes. hahaha. philly's coming to sd next week, which is pretty exciting, we're going to go out and play, as much as my schedule will allow anyway. boo.. and some other crap. and nicole promises she'll come down and play :) *good times* or maybe we'll just congregate at disneyland :) but i am broke. like really really really broke. i barely have enough money to pay my bills, actually i'm not sure if i will have enough. and my mom just gave me a crapload of money as well, so i feel bad asking for more. not working sucks butt munchies. (only in that "broke" sense, not in "yay i have way more free time and don't have to go to work at 5am to put sensors on clothing for minimum wage because they're too sheisty to give me a raise" sense) yikes.. okay.. i should go.. maybe earn my keep. and then i have errands to run, bills to pay, cable to re-connect, rehearsals to go to, and hopefully a party. :) except i have a cki thing to do tomorrow.. damn it..i thought i was done. damn the district for having stc on the same day as admit day. hahahahah

my life has been pretty hectic and crazy so far.. and it's only been a week back at school. this is has possibly been one of the longest weeks ever. but i still don't want tomorrow to be monday. ugh.. i wish weekends were longer.
spring break was fun.. i slept A LOT. and i'm not exaggerating. it was a lot even for me. i would wake up at noon or so, get up, eat, do random stuff, and then take a nap at 4pm because i was so tired. and it wasn't just like the first few days of spring break.. it was allll week. crazy. so i totally messed up my sleeping schedule for the first week of school. horrible. hung out with beth and sakura. spent time with my sister and my family. it was my sister's bday, so did some celebrating. went shopping for a bit, but wasn't in a real big buying mood, which is weird, but it was good :) i am sooo broke. especially now that i no longer am employed by the gap. on thursday went to a screening of Better Luck Tomorrow with Beth. it was fun, i got to help sell tshirts.. *ahh.. retail* and Friday.. I went to DISNEYLAND and CALIFORNIA ADVENTURES with Nicole and Sakura!! yay!! i got a season pass, so if anyone wants to go, let me know.. i need to get my money's worth!! although that $8 parking thing is a rip-off. geez!! it was way fun and i loved it. i love disneyland.
this week has been really crazy, and i really feel like it's been much longer than a week. i've done a little bit of circle k stuff, not too much, i definitely have a lot more time on my hands, which is nice. but stupid me, when i have free time, i only fill it up with more crap. so i'm stage managing a play at school. it's cool because i get to work wtih graduate actors and the staff and junk. it's not cool because it eats up all my time, because i have to be at rehearsal for 6+ hours a day, 6 days a week, and mostly all nighttimes. and i'm just like the clean up girl. yuk. but it's still kind of fun to do something different. it's weird not having any comm classes. and there's this other musical theater history class, which seems okay.. and sakura's in the class with me.. but it just seems kind of hard because the teacher's a stickler for research and writing and i just don't know if want to put that much effort my last quarter (i'm such a slacker!!)
hmm.. not much else.. just trying to tie up a lot of loose ends.. but everything seems very jumbled.. and i'm still really really tired during the day. it's so odd.. i really need to get my sleeping schedule back in order. it's like i have spring break jet lag. i'm kind of sick, and nicole was making sure i don't have SARS, which freaks me out a little bit. but my dad is going to taiwan tomorrow, so that freaks me out. i was talking to him on the phone, and i was really tired, but also just not good at the mushy stuff. and hoping that in the 14 days that he's there nothing happens... especially because i can't be there to say goodbye to him when he leaves tomorrow. my mom was supposed to leave for taiwan on the 1st, but she delayed the trip because of the disease... i don't know what's going on with that. but.. *sigh* i don't know. but being sick sucks, and my roommate has pink eye, and if i get it.. i will kill her. :)
oh!! on saturday a few of us went over to hailes' apartment and he cooked up dinner. it was soooooooo yummy.. we all ate until we were stuffed. ladies.. hailes is a good cook.. marry him now.. hahaha we drank a bit and watched sweet home alabama. and ate some more. yuuuuuum. the food was way good. i was excited. i wish hailes would cook for me all the time :) and today i watched fox rox.. the show i intern for. it's kind of cool to know that i had a teeny tiny part in helping put that show together.. and my name was in the credits!! yay!! i'm a superstar. hehehehhehe. i should probably go to sleep now.. it's 3am.. there's goes my sleeping schedule. i hope i can breathe better when i wake up.
