happy leap year folks! it's that extra day of the year.. yay feb 29th. this girl in circle k's birthday was on feb 29th.. that must be pretty interesting. i think today is a pretty neat day. (yeah.. i'm easily amused).

so working at 5am blows. there are a few redeeming qualities.. lunch seems to come earlier (you take it at 10am.. before the mall even opens), you get to work for 5 or so hours without having to worry about customers who want this, that and everything else, and you get off by 2pm when you'd normally be starting your day anyways. so i guess after you get up and go it's not so bad.. it's just starting off is that hard part. now i'm a little tired too, and my feet hurt like no other.. but i get to rest and hey.. i'll have good sleep tonight!

today we were supposed to have our last softball game, but 4 guys on our team are doing fantasy baseball draft (boo..) and jill is in san diego (boo..) so we had to forfeit (booo...) i'm so bummed! no more softball until summer or something. i totally miss it already.. our last game is supposed to start in half a hour, i kinda just want to go to the field and just sit there or something. so sad... i'll miss it.. it was definitely good times. waffles, i'll miss you.

instead... the oscars are going on.. i drove by hollywood and highland last week and it was pretty cool to see the stuff getting set up. we're so close, but also yet so far away.. how fun would it be to walk on the red carpet and go to the parties... one day :P but it's exciting to watch... we're supposed to have a mini oscar party at beth's.. more like just me and her and maybe sakura watching it together so we don't seem so lonely and loserish. but it's a special occasion.. i even got a costco chicken for it, it's that exciting. :)
