just thought i'd update quickly... i'm trying to leave work early because i just got called in to go help out at banana.. so i want to go home to rest up, but i feel bad leaving early.. but i didn't take a lunch! so maybe i'll leave like 1/2 hour early after i finish all my work :) i'm a little scared about going to br to work, just because everything is so perfect, and they're getting a visit, so it'll have to be uber perfect... i feel like i won't be good enough. but anyways.

today is the hump day.. and i really just wanted to stay home and hu- i mean sleep :P it's probably bad when every morning you wake up and think about calling in sick just because you don't want to go. how am i going to ever survive in the real world?! yikes.

monday was a lot of driving. i drove up to burbank (third time in the past few days) for an interview (eh.) and afterwards met up with vivian in la for a belated birthday dinner :P really it was just an excuse to hang out, but hey- whatever works. it worked out well because i left burbank by the time i got a hold of her and she was still in century city (where she works). i drove down sepulveda instead of taking the 405.. which was fun, driving down long streets and hills with curvy streets. there were a few stop lights that were out, and i just sped through them thinking they were out on purpose so that it wouldn't slow traffic down. but then after a few more i realized it was kind of dark... so maybe power was out? and i had sped through all those dark lights... oops. luckily i didn't really see opposing traffic, but yikes.. it's scary to think what if. we met up at my sister's and had talay thai (my recent obsession). we had this coupon for buy 3 get 1 free.. it was a LOT of food. i also got my to borrow my sister's ipod.. whoo hoo. i love new toys. i haven't had a chance to really play with it yet. oh yea :P

last night it was me and beth hang out night. we went to pf chang's, beth's fav place. we always say how we're going to go there, but never do, so finally we went to go get yummy chicken lettuce wraps. beth was salivating the whole way :P we had to wait, so we went to the golf store to pass the time. playing with clubs and putters and wedges we knew nothing about.. finally we found this snowglobe of a ball and a tee and you were supposed to try and get the ball on to the tee. that thing is hard. but quite entertaining... that's everyone's new christmas gift! i could easily play with that thing for days (because that's how long it would take me to get the ball on the tee). i came close a few times, but it'd always just fall right off. argh. afterwards we drove around, shopped at old navy, tried to go to the closed trader joe's and finally settled on going to coldstone's. the closest one being in hermosa, we realized it was fat tuesday and decided to look at what was going on in the local party places. (still avoiding sharkeez like the plague) we finally found parking, went to fat fish fenner's, then beth wanted to hit up the treasure chest, your everyday cheesy souvenir shop. it was filled with all sorts of good stuff, including beth's new awesome star jewelry.. so pretty! and new flower necklace, and my new dolphin ate a dolphin keychain. huh? yea.. it's a clean plastic dolphin with a smaller dolphin figurine inside with water. so it's supposed to be cute, but it's just kind of freaky to me. it's like what dolphin eats other dolphins?! we laughed so hard, the store owner must have thought we were crazy.. or drunk. but we weren't... (not drunk anyways). it was good time. we got ice cream, went to the open mic at tj charlyz and back to my house to peruse pictures and watch the littlest groom... (grr.. my sister's season passes overrode my average joe recording.. DANG IT). anyhow.. i had a lot of fun last night.. thanks beth!

the bachelorette's on tonight.. i think she's gonna pick matt.
