i keep meaning to update, but it just wasn't happening.. oops my bad. not like there's anything too interesting to read. oh.. and i think i was waiting on some pictures to update with.. so there.. that's my excuse.

hmm... it's been a pretty interesting few days, interesting to me, maybe not necessarily to you. but nonetheless. friday feb 13th was spent at a pre-valentine's day/yay you got a job/thanks for making my calendar dinner with me and sakura. we had been planning to go to black angus for awhile because we just wanted to go out and eat and i had a coupon... but i had lost the coupon, but it's alright because it came to the same amount anyways.. well actually, we didn't get chocolate cake but we were too stuffed by the end to eat anymore anyways. our waiter was pretty amusing, he kept making wise cracks about "if you need anything, let me know... i'll be here all night" in his "i hate work" voice. :) but he was nice. afterwards we opted not to go party it up with the extreme wild child, nicole, and caught an almost empty showing of miracle instead. loved that movie.. it was so good :) it kind of was like the mighty ducks, but awesome as well. the entire theatre was all empty... when we walked up there was no line, and like 4 people in the theater.. very pelicular for a friday night. where did all the ghetto people who like to hang out at the galleria go?

saturday.. happy valentine's day! it was a family day.. we were each other's valentines.. awwww... my sister came home and she and my mom went shopping and returning (our family's favorite activity) and i ran errands and my sick father stayed home to rest. that night i baked cupcakes and we watched our T3 illegal dvd where you see people walking in late.. hahah. i stayed up way late to frost my cookies and cupcakes but i think they were so cute.. so :) yay. i had a very nice and fun valentine's day.

sunday i was supposed to spend time with the family, but didn't get to.. boo. i woke up to meet carrie at breakfast with the kettle.. after which i ran to my car to find stupid parking meter police man just finishing putting a ticket on my car. dang it dang it dang it. ugh.. i hate that. he was like "sorry.. if you had stopped me while i was writing it" and my reply was "i was waiting at the stoplight to cross the street" to which he replied "sorry." ugh. i contested it and we'll just have to wait. boo boo boo. i frikkin hate parking tickets! i went home to rest a little bit and then in was off to our second to last game. :( we played the best team in the league, but they're really nice and aren't big 'ol jerks and just like to play for the fun of it (but they've kicked everyone's ass without even trying.. so i'm sure it's lots of fun for them). everyone hits well on their team.. some of their girls hit better than out guys.. hahah. it was all gravy until halfway through the game one of the many huge huge dudes on their team hit a line drive right to me. unfortunately i had no time to react and i took a shot straight to the chest.. more specifically my left boob. i only mention it because jill has already kindly announced it to everyone. but anyhow.. i kneeled down to the ground and held my breath to try to stop myself from crying so i wouldn't look too ridiculously girly but people thought that i had gotten the wind knocked out of me. people told me to lay down and i could only think "but i'm wearing a white shirt!" and everyone tried to ask me where i got hit and where it hurts and if i had got any of my glove on it.. which i just replied.. it hurts everywhere. hahah. finally few ice packs later, we all decided the team should continue playing and i sat on the sidelines to ice my boob. jill also got banged in the shin from the ball earlier in the game so we had matching welts, it's cute. the other team offered me a beer and the other guy felt really bad. i felt bad that he felt bad because i know he didn't do it on purpose. but i'm sure he's over it. at least i hope. i really like that team. afterwards we ate at the elephant bar (mm... creme brulee) and then to ryan's for sex in the city and poker. good times.

jean: my boob's all red and it hurts. soon it'll be all black and blue
jill: well you can't show your boobs to anyone then
jean: damn. how am i gonna make my money?

president's day.. i had to work booo.. it seems like almost the whole world had it off.. but work was okay, i went home to eat lunch with my parents and after work i just watched tv. it was the fat suit episode of average joe 2. not quite as exciting as last seasons, but still okay. tonight is going to be pretty sad because they set up fredo to spy on a date where they knew that she'd be making out with hottie jim. sad. i think the girl's gonna pick the hot guy again this season. so what's the point of this show?

tuesday/wednesday i decided to ditch work to work on "who wants to marry my dad? 2" heheheheh. it was pretty cool.. so thursday, friday and saturday i spent with one of the contestants of the show. good thing she wasn't a crazy psycho because i had to spend a lot of time with her. i like her.. i hope she wins! she reminded me of kimmy. hahah. but it was very interesting to see some of the behind the scenes stuff, and be around the studios.. sigh.. if only it was a full time gig. the only thing is that working on production, there is such instability because once one production ends you have to find a new one. so that's where the who ya know/what do you do aspect pops up. that's why i want to work in the production office. haha. anyhow.. i spent all my time eating, sleeping and watching tv. even more than usual. (no comments) sunday i got to see the house they're filming at, it's nice and pretty big. it was starting to rain, so good things i had my sneakers in my trunk cuz i only had flip flops. got to eat the catered food that the reality stars were eating.. haha. and then it was on my way back to torrance to get ready for my hot date with sakura to the dunlap gala that night. like an idiot i took the 405 instead of the 110 to come home, and the rain was murder of the freeway. the traffic was sooooooo bad, it took me almost 2 hours to get home. ugh. got ready, and then drove back up north to burbank for the dinner. in usual fashion sakura and i were late and we got lost. hahahah. we still got our free dinner, parting gift, and lost $20 in the raffle. but there was some good entertainment from the kiwanians. we tried to steer clear of a few people.. or rather person. haaha. it was a little odd to be one of few sponsored youth at this thing... we sat with carrie and irene and we all tried to make conversation with the 2 kiwanis couples at the table... they were really nice though. we ate, said hi to a few of the people we could recognize and didn't stay for the door prize raffle. damn.. sakura wanted the little froggie toys for her kids. oh well. nicole called and from her friend's friend's art show thingymajigy, and since it was nearby we decided to stop on in. too bad i got the friggin' wrong directions and drove the wrong way on the freeway for like 20 minutes before we realized it was the wrong way. tip: consult a map before you go.. even if you have directions from someone. seems simple enough right? maybe i'm just retarded. we finally got there and drank a little, danced some, looked at art in the dark. sakura was drunk to the point where everything was funny (although she only had like 1.5 drinks.. pretty strong though). she laughed for about 5 mintues about the pizza place next to the pizza hut next to the video hut. huh? sure. drove home in the rain.. it was coming down pretty hard. it was a little scary.. but got back safe and sound. slept in late yesterday.. sleep is glorious :) went to csudh for the metro v-ball tourney at salamanca's request. i went for an hour and chit chatted, saw some people i haven't seen in a long time - salamanca, linda, billings.. yay :) i'm not sad the cki isn't my whole life anymore, but it's so weird that that's what connected you to so many people, and now your life just isn't the same. hahah. like how nicole really wanted to go to convention so she have a reason to get dressed up and go out. after winter formals and dances were no more cki gave us something to gather and celebrate for.. and now you just gotta wait for stuff like weddings or really special birthdays (or funerals.. but that's not so happy). i dunno.. beth says that it'll be better once we all have our own houses and don't all live at home, then we can invite people over and have dinner parties, and crap like that. :P we'll have dress up and come over night just for nicole :). i'll put on my own award ceremony and we'll win first in scrapbook everytime dammit! :P did a little shopping and then waited to see if we had to play softball. sadly it was rained out but jill and i still ventured out to ryan's apartment to hang out with beth, ryan and jason to watch sex in the city and the final farewell. awww.. my sissy-poo and her friend lindy came over too :) beth cooked dinner and made yummerific cookies. thanks honey! watched the simpsons and some other programs and then went to joan's to watch snl, the sag awards and pick up my new/old tivo. oh yes.. i am the proud owner of a tivo.. hand me downs are great. haha.. i may not have always necessarily thought, living a life of hand me downs as the little sister.. but this one rocks. and it has a lifetime subscription on it too. whoooooooo... too bad the reception is fuzzy from my spectacular rabbit ears. but the excitement of tivo makes me pee a little in my pants. just kidding. but i am really excited. my sister's also going to let me borrow and ipod too.. so i can try it on for size before i decide if i want a regular or mini. fun fun fun.. i love new toys :) i spent awhile setting up the tivo and set some stuff to record tonight. i love tivo.

i have an interview today.. wish me luck.
